A common error is the flatline approach—keeping energy constant. The optimal structure for a 50-track list is a series of "V-Arcs".
- Track 1-3: High familiarity, high energy (The Hook).
- Track 4-7: Descending energy, increasing discovery/novelty.
- Track 8-10: Ascending energy, leading to a climax track.
